New Croatian climbing area, KARIN

On the accasion of Paklenica Speed Festival we have visited also new dynamic sport climbing area "Karin" which is around 40 km from Paklenica.

So far there is around 60 single pitch sport routes ranging from 5c - 8a+. Potencial of this area is great and in the future there should be around 250 routes in all grades, says local "guru" Boris Cujic. Area is suitable for all-year-round climbing as indivual sectors are located in different positions to sun and you can choose shady or sunny place.   During autumn Rock Pillars, Ocun is planning to make here rock climbing festival "Octoberfest" with the participation of RP Team climbers lead by Tomas Mrazek.
